Description

🔬 Cell Scraper

A customizable tool for precise, contamination-free cell collection

Cell scraping is one of those essential but overlooked steps in wet-lab workflows. Whether you’re isolating RNA, extracting metabolites, collecting proteins, or preparing samples for microscopy, an efficient, sterile, and surface-safe tool makes all the difference.

2 sizes: small one for 24-well plate and large one for 6-well plate or larger dish.

🧫 Designed for Versatility:
Compatible with 6-, 12-, and 24-well plates as well as standard tissue culture dishes, this scraper features a narrow head for tight curves, a comfortable handle, and a replaceable blade system for easy swapping or sterilization.

🧪 Key Applications:

  • RNA, DNA, or protein isolation from adherent cells
  • Metabolite extraction from cultured cells (great for metabolomics)
  • Immunofluorescence workflows requiring gentle detachment of fixed cells
  • Gel electrophoresis prep, collecting lysed cells before lysis buffer
  • Western blot or ELISA sample prep
  • Disposable use—print in batches and discard after use to avoid cross-contamination. Or wash carefully if you want.

  • Autoclavable? If printed in suitable filament, be careful with the material!
