Dragnipur Malazan Book of the Fallen

Description
This is an original, full-scale 3D model inspired by Dragnipur from Malazan Book of the Fallen, based purely on textual descriptions from the novels and author commentary. It is not based on existing fan art or official designs. This is my personal interpretation brought to life for cosplay and collectors.
I used Bambu PLA Basic Black for the blade, Bambu PLA Metal Iron Grey Metallic for the cross-hilt, Bambu PLA-CF Black for the Handle, and Bambu PLA Basic Silver for the pommel.
The handle is designed to have the look of worn leather, so I went with the PLA-CF because of its nice texture.
The model is split for easier printing on most machines.
A 3/8" internal shaft runs through the entire sword to allow insertion of a threaded rod or wooden dowel—this greatly increases durability and is especially necessary given the sword’s extreme length.
