I needed a suspension for a 2-step that allows me to hang it on the fence and secure it with a lock and wire rope. I wanted it to hang securely so that it wouldn't rattle against the fence in the wind. For this, I 3D scanned the handle area of the 2-step, created the negative, and added some extra space so that it is easy to hang but hangs rattle-free.
This worked quite well for me, even though it has warped somewhat due to warping, as I printed everything from ASA.
Since the model is 366mm long, I split it in half in Bambu Slicer, added 6mm dowels, and glued both parts together (with 2K adhesive).
