Description
HPLC Vial Centrifuge Adapter (Fits 15 mL Tubes)
A smarter way to centrifuge volatile-phase samples.
In lipid extraction workflows—especially when using chloroform and methanol—glass is a must. But while HPLC vials are perfect for handling organic solvents, they’re notoriously difficult to centrifuge safely. Most standard centrifuge rotors don’t have inserts that fit them securely, and risking a cracked vial or imbalance at high speed is the last thing any of us needs.
Here’s the solution:
This custom-designed 3D insert converts a standard 15 mL centrifuge tube into a snug, solvent-friendly adapter for HPLC vials. It holds the vial upright and centered during low- to mid-speed centrifugation, making it ideal for phase separation during lipid extractions or similar organic workflows.
🔬 Ideal Use Case:
- Lipid extraction from cells using chloroform/methanol
- Separation of organic and aqueous phases
- Transfer of bottom phase directly from HPLC vials

⚠️ Note:
This insert is not meant for high-speed centrifugation. Stay within low-speed ranges (≤3000 g recommended) to avoid mechanical stress on both the adapter and the vial.
🛠️ Design Features:
- Optimized for standard 15 mL conical centrifuge tubes
- Internal groove matches HPLC vial shape for a tight, stable fit
- Printed in chemically resistant filament
- Easy to remove and clean
- Cost-effective alternative to custom glassware adapters
