I was actually surprised myself when I printed it and assembled it for the first time. It turned out that there's something special about this fidget toy.
Echo Orb is a flexible model that’s fun to hold and play with. It’s made up of 12 elements that move and bend when touched. As you twist or squeeze it in your hands, it shifts and reacts, creating a truly dynamic and interactive experience.
That’s how the name came to me: the design looks like ripples or frozen soundwaves — but it comes alive in your hands.
Here is how to assemble it:

It's incredibly engaging, massaging your fingers and palms with a wave of relaxation and focus. It's a unique sensation that adds an extra layer of tactile enjoyment. It’s almost as if your hands and mind take a small break from the hustle and bustle, diving into a meditative state that keeps you present and grounded. The gentle sound created as its elements move up and down adds an extra layer of sensory satisfaction. It's not just about the feel but also the soothing, rhythmic sound that makes the experience even more immersive.
Having it nearby reminds you to take those small breaks, ease tension, and keep your hands engaged when your mind starts to wander.
It’s super satisfying to fidget with — a great print for both play and display.
Where do you think you'll place it in your room?
If you’ve printed any of my previous models like Petal Whirl, Spiked Orb, or Clicker Orb, you can reuse the same core and pins for this one too.
New Generation of 3D Orbs – Echo Orb NET with Lockers

After the success of the original 3D Orbs, I started looking for ways to optimize my designs.
I wanted to use less filament and reduce printing time. That’s how this second generation was born.
Echo Orb – NET is designed to be printed in place, folded into a sphere.
You can fold it and unfold it anytime with a satisfying click — the transformation itself is part of the fun.
It also comes with new Flexi-Tops with a locker mechanism, so you can fix them either sticking out or hidden inside and easily change the look.
