Description

This is a very specific model that only enthusiasts of retro Graupner models from the 1980s will appreciate.
These are parts for the fuselage of the iconic Mosquito model, clearly visible in the photographs.
The presented 3D model is intended for experienced modelers and makers who can adapt the print to their own requirements and adjust settings according to their needs.

The STL files include several variants of fuselage parts and templates for fuselage side panels and wing section.

Hello. Nice work. I was pleased to find this because I had this in mind. Balsa wings and printed fuselage. I had a question about 100Pc infill for the nose. It looks heavy. Is it really required?

Hello, The fuselage is not made entirely of plastic. Only the nose of the fuselage is plastic. There must be no infill because the wall of the nose under the balsa is only 1 mm thick. Only the part where the motor is located is made of solid plastic. The weight is slightly higher than wood, but it is not significant and does not matter. It is better to have a solid nose than to carry lead. The only part where filler can be added is the former in the middle of the nose of the fuselage (however, if the entire nose is printed in one piece, the former is not necessary).

Hello. Did you use epoxy slow cure or Cyano slow for gluing balsa? Thks

Beautiful model, did you print with standard PLA Basic filament?

I printed it from Aurapol HT110, which is PLA resistant to 110 °C. But any PLA basic/matte from Bambu will certainly suffice.
