Description

This beautiful Menorah is a unique model available on Thingiverse. It stands out with its elegant design. I printed it for my mother and she was really surprised of the quality of the print and the design. Therefore I wanted to share it here with a print profile, in case someone wants to print it too and does not have to try different slicer settings. I manually adjusted support. I wanted to prevent any support inside the blossom because you can hardly access it and it is simply not necessary. For the arms tree support is necessary but I reduced it a bit.

Dimensions:

Height: 194 mm

Width: 245 mm

Depth: 127 mm

Material: PLA Silk is recommended

General Information: A Menorah is a candelabrum with seven or nine branches, used in Jewish tradition. The seven-branched Menorah is an ancient symbol of Judaism, originally used in the Tabernacle and later in the Temple in Jerusalem. The nine-branched Menorah, also known as a Hanukkiah, is used during the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. Each night of Hanukkah, an additional candle is lit until all nine candles are burning on the final night.

This Menorah is not only a symbol of light but also an expression of creativity and craftsmanship. Enjoy printing and using this unique model!

Warning: I do not recommend lighting the candles on the menorah. It is plastic and may melt due to the heat of the candle and may cause a fire. I use it as decoration only.

love the look, disappointed it’s not a menorah for Hanukah but gorgeous anyway. took me 4 times, 3 times something happened. I was using regular PLA but color changing. I finally used PLA+ yellow and it printed fine

Did you use my print profile? It doesn’t look like it—the support seems different. Still, I’m glad the print turned out well with PLA+. Although it has worked fine for me so far, I’ll add another print profile with a brim to reduce the risk of failed prints.

If you explain me what's gone wrong and send me some pictures, I'm happy to help you out. What's the problem in detail and which print profile did you use? Adhesion or Support issues?

Replying to @WoodenDiamonds :
Mine is breaking when it reaches the part of the "candles" support, the support and the adhesion to the bed are ok

I tried to make some miniatures as a tribute, but the reduced version didn't look good. MW doesn't let me give 5 stars

great design but the middle of the base snapped instantly while delicately taking the supports off. I’ll try again…

Support Issue: Kayla, pardon into spaghetti while printing

What caused the spaghetti mess? Are the support structures not sticking to the build plate, or is something else going wrong? Have you checked your print bed? What material are you using? The print works well for me, but if you give me some feedback, I might be able to improve the profile.
