Description

Bambu Lab Reusable Spool - for A1 Mini

Do you have a Bambu Lab A1 Mini, use refill spools, and want a reusable spool that’s actually useful, good-looking, and well-designed?
This is the spool for you: honeycomb style, refined geometry, and plenty of details crafted with (too much) care 🤓

✨ Key Features

  • 🐝 Honeycomb structure – yeah, it looks cool and reduces weight…
but did you know you can thread your filament right through it?
No need for clips — just tuck the filament into one of the hex holes,
and it won’t go anywhere 😎

  • 🧩 Top + bottom assembly with tight tolerances – it locks together firmly,
    so no shim required.
But if you're one of those "just to be safe" people, I've included a shim model between the two halves 😉

  • 🎯 Designed for 1kg Bambu Lab refills (inner hole 81.5 mm)

  • 🌀 Top and bottom are different — they each serve a purpose (and yes, you’ll probably still try to mix them up once)

  • 🏷️ Dual label system – can't see your filament label when it's on the AMS Lite?
Now you can move the label plate to the exposed side and always know what’s loaded and how much is left!

🧷 Want to track filament usage? Just stick the original Bambu Lab refill label onto the plate and keep an eye on it while you print.

  • 🎨 Label plate is color-customizable – change its color to match the filament you’re loading!
Pro tip: print it after you’ve mounted the refill, so you can color-match it properly

  • ⚖️ Weight-optimized:
    • Top half: 69g
    • Bottom half: 64g

  • 🧪 Tested in matte PLA: Lightweight and solid

  • 🔥 PETG version for dryer use coming soon! (not tested yet)

📏 Compatibility

  • ✅ Bambu Lab A1 Mini (fits bed and side spool holder)
  • ✅ Compatible with Bambu Lab PLA/PETG refills
  • ❌ Not compatible with ABS/ASA refills (they’re too wide)

🛠️ Assembly

  1. Insert the refill into the bottom part
  2. Align and twist the top part to lock
  3. Add the shim if you’re feeling extra cautious
  4. Thread the filament through the honeycomb — no clips, no mess
  5. Print your label plate in the right color and snap it on the exposed side
  6. Stick your original Bambu Lab label onto the plate to track remaining filament!
