I recommend keeping the orientation with supports as it allows for a more solid structure of the part. However, if you print in a material with stronger layer adhesion than PLA, you can try to print them flat, without any supports

Note: if you do not wish to have a hexagonal hole in the handle, you just need to remove the negative part from the chosen model

I'm pretty sure the file with the hexagon pattern is corrupted. My slicer can't open it and says it has an error in the file.

Hello, as you can see from the attached screenshot, I downloaded the file (cf date/time) and was able to open and slice it without any problems. I therefore invite you to check that everything is working correctly on your end, as there are no issues with this file. You can start by checking if the .3mf file you downloaded is indeed 1912KB (cf screenshot); it's possible that your download did not complete successfully

Must be a problem with PrusaSlicer specifically then. I'm not sure why, but it refuses to open either of these slip grip files. Thank you for confirming that the file itself isn't damaged though, I'll find a way to fix the issue on my end.
