Description

Cat litter scoop and bagging in one!

Put the bag over the open end of the scoop, sift out the good litter, tip the scoop up and the bad stuff goes straight in the bag, continue scooping until you’re done.

This scoop has an ergonomic design and a comfortable handle, it is strong but still light at under 80g.

Included here are 3 versions to choose from, depending on the type of litter you use:

scoopNbag1.stl - this has 11mm hexagons for the sieve, for cat litter types with larger grains.

scoopNbag2.stl - this has 11mm hexagons with elongated sides (approx. 17mm), for cat litter types with “pellets”, like recycled paper/wood. This is the one pictured in the gallery.

scoopNbag3.stl - this has 7mm hexagons for the sieve, for cat litter types with finer grains.

The model has been designed so you can use an elastic band to hold the bag in place over the open end of the scoop as shown in the pics.

***EDIT 22/05/25

Added 3 files xxxxxxxNH.stl that are similar to the originals but have no handles and the curved section has been extended 20mm to enable more room to hold the scoop (and bag). @PuckStar thanks for the alternate idea.

If you print it, leave a pic in the Makes, I'd like to see it.

Print settings I used:

PLA (other filament types would be just as good or better)

0.2mm layer height

10% gyroid infill

2 walls

As shown in the pic on the printer build plate, I used a support under the back of the handle (support setting: threshold angle 29deg and from build plate only) and a brim (5mm) to ensure the model was held firmly to the plate during printing.
