Description

Hey MakerWorld fam!

I’m thrilled to share my latest 3D-print design—a lifelike model of my beloved Labrador, printed on the Bambu Lab H2D with PETG (and PLA supports). This little friend captures all those floppy-ear charm and loyal-dog vibes, down to every muscle curve and paw detail.

🎨 Why You’ll Love It

  • Ultra-Realistic Anatomy
Meticulously sculpted to showcase a Labrador’s gentle expression, natural posture, and smooth contours—perfect for desk décor or a heartfelt gift.
  • Velvety Flock Finish Look
While printed in PETG, the matte surface gives a “suede-soft” appearance that really brings out the dog’s fur texture.

🐶 Story Behind the Design

My Labrado, Balley, is more than a pet—she’s  part of our family. I wanted a model that captures her calm confidence and playful spirit. From those soulful eyes to the poised tail, every curve is a tribute to her.

Please feel free to upload printing profiles as the 3mf file is designed on the H2D by using one nozzle for support and another for printing.

That is a pity, especially since you are the first to have this problem Perhaps I can help: Which printer, which slicer, which filament If you have made settings yourself, reduce the thickness of the supports

I don't know the reason, as I am pretty new to Bambu Lab a1 mini, but all the previous models have no problems. It was Bambu Studio, a1 mini, PLA. Thanks for your support!

In Bambu Studio check if the filament is correctly set (for me it was Bambu PLA Matte) and the width of the support lines to 0.3.. Set supports to Tree-Hybrid. Immediately after printing remove the supports with small pliers and with a piece of wood/handle smooth out any possible unevenness. If successful please rate with 4 or 5 stars. Good luck

It didn't turn out well, very thin filaments loose on the head, especially on the ears, and on the front legs there's also quite a bit of waste material to remove

I'm sorry about that! Since no one has encountered these problems before, please check the flow calibration. Stringing is usually caused by this. Which printer and slicer did you use to print?

I'm sorry! I first snip long supports in the middle with small side cutters and then loosen them by carefully wiggling. But many thanks and Merry Christmas
