I'm new to 3d Printing, so any appreciation or Boosts would be awesome!!
A great hit-point & attack-strength counter I developed based off of Poagie's Star Wars version.
As in Poagie's design, these counters use 4x2mm magnets to hold all the parts together (eight magnets per each complete counter). The magnets keep the plates attached, and the counters can spin them freely in either direction while still friction-holding in place so they do not rotate without user input.
I use these counter's to play “The Binding of Isaac”, but really they can be used for any game!!
The magnets also allow for easily disassembly to change out wheels if different games call for different colors or numbers. Also, you can slide a character card under the magnets to keep the counter attached to your card.
I've attached a few versions, as well as .STL files:
You can use the version with the heart and sword icons, or print a version with the blank faceplate. (or just print an extra blank faceplate and swap out as needed based on the game you use it with)
There is also a .3mf that includes all parts for 4 completed counters.
Each file contains seperate buildplates depending on if you want the Faceplate with Icons, or the Blank Faceplate version.
(Because of this, the print times listed above for each profile are roughly twice as long as it will take you to print)
Each complete Game Counter is assembled using the following:
- 1x Backplate
- 1x Faceplate
- 1x Attack wheel
- 1x Life Wheel
- 8x magnets (4x2mm) (single drop of superglue to hold each magnet in place)
