Description
Desiccant Container for Bambu Lab Spool with Hygrometer
I store my filament in vacuum bags, and for all materials, I have always added a bag of desiccant. For materials like PETG, I also add a hygrometer. For vacuum sealing, I use this Bosch device, which works very well
After recently experiencing twice that the original Bambu Lab spool came apart in the AMS due to poorly wound filament, making it essentially plastic waste, I designed these containers which, among other things, hold the spool halves more securely together
As desiccant, I now use these silica gel beads
UPDATE: It happens that the silica beads sneak through the small opening in the hygrometer. I modified the model and closed these openings
There are two print profiles:
- without AMS single color
- with AMS two colors (pause for filament change is included)
