Description

A simple quick release buckle. Made from my original one. For convinience both clips are designed for straps adjustment capability. PETG is the best choice i think because of its durability and flexibility.

Overhangs are not optimal as well the support does not break away flawless. But still functional.

Thanks for Your comment and rating. Try also angled version, it prints better in my opinion.

worked pretty good for my respirator, the clips it came with were useless. For some reason I printed the male piece 4 times and still had it break in the same area every time. So I used my soldering iron to put it back together and then soaked it in glue to help, which seems to have worked. I would probably just switch it to a 100% infil and manually add supports.

Thank You very much for boosting, i really appreciate it. I'm using mine in folding bed to strap bedding with 3 of them. They are working perfectly for now. Adding 100% infill should strengthen the part. Which area of the male part turned out to be weak in your case if i may ask ?

I printed the 45degree version, so it broke along the layer line on the same prong (it's symmetrical, so its not really the left or right) every time, and the same layer, which is really odd. I don't even know if it's the design or just the slicer messing up.

What size strap can it fit? Also, PETG is a fairly weak and brittle filament. PLA+ is much stronger and still has some flexibility.

my strap is 19mm wide and about 1mm thick. For all my clips i used PETG and haven't had to reprint any in 6 months. So for me PETG is strong and flexible enough but feel free to experiment with orher filaments.

Just finished printing 2 sets. Tree supports came off clean and fit, though a little loose, is excellent for my use.

Some issues with printing, I had to reposition the piece and there was a bit too much play between the two pieces, thank you all the same for sharing
