This is a reinforced version of the model with added M8 fully threaded rods on the sides

This design was inspired by the aforementioned model, and I created the data using readily available components

•M8 screws

•Two 608ZZ bearings (8mm inner diameter × 22mm outer diameter × 7mm width)

•An empty plastic bottle

•Two M8 x 40 fully threaded rods

I added a tray to collect the shredded material that emerges from the front opening

After shredding, the material can be melted down in a silicone mold using an oven to create new objects or recycled into filament using a filament manufacturing machine

It didn't work for me, I printed it on 2 occasions with 2 drills to rule out revolutions and without success, I'm going to try with another shredder

I printed it with ABS, it worked great. The result of the shredding is quite excellent

Great remix! I wanted to ask a couple of questions. I am printing now. What is the stopper cap for? and can i use long enough m8 screws instead of rods? or if can only use m8 rods, what is the listing asking for also m8 screws?

Is that a dust catch When in use debris falls from the front of the screw so this is to prevent that I do not quite understand about the M8 screw Perhaps the translation is incorrect because I am writing in Japanese Regards

From what I can tell, as I was wondering this myself, the only issue with using a screw instead of the rod would be that the screw heads would interfere with the front bearing. From what I can see the addition of "screws" is likely a translation error/mistaken addition, as only one or the other would be needed. I'm looking to try making this using screws instead by figuring out making a recess for the screw heads

Other Issues:I got the end caps to go on all the way but had problems with the threads. I used the all thread rods but it just didn’t shred filament scarps very well.
