Rad Landroid M - Model WR165E

As my lawn mowing robot constantly got stuck, I designed new wheels.

The original wheels are terrible and far too light.

My wheels run on spikes and have a 10 mm mild steel core.

I also gave the wheels more wall thickness and set the infill density to 50%,

I prioritized flawless functionality over printing time.

I melted in 6 inserts with a 5 mm thread to screw everything together.

Since my mower has been using the new wheels, there has not been a single problem. Even when the grass is wet, it does its job perfectly.

I chose PETG HF as the material because the robot's wheels are heavily stressed and, of course, work outdoors.

Not printed but required:

6 pieces M5 inserts

I cut a 10 mm thick steel plate on our water jet cutting machine.

Inner diameter = 48 mm

Outer diameter = 138.5 mm

6 stainless steel M5 x 25 mm hex screws
