Description

I created a 3D-printed balloon-powered toy car.
super easy to print and assemble!
It uses pieces of filament as axles for the wheels, making it lightweight, fun, and fast to build.
Just inflate the balloon, let go, and watch it race!

No problem with cutting and printing in PLA.

Printed cleanly and I used straightened paper clips for the axles like another commenter and it rolls great! I still have to figure out where I put the balloons, but its fun to play with as a regular car, too.

hi, Ii glad you enjoy playing with it, it is very fun even without balloon, for the axis you can use filament segments

Works very well so far. Strangely, however, it has a total rightward tendency. So it only drifts 😅 When attaching the wheels, I only noticed on the front axle that I can also push the filament completely through and don't have to cut it individually for each wheel.

LOOKS GREAT! doesn’t work on carpeted floors and used filament for the wheels. I found it easier to put the balloon on first then blow up the balloon through the hole need the back

Very cute! Unfortunately, in my case, using the filament as an axle didn't work; the wheels turned with difficulty, and the little car wouldn't move… I solved it using a paperclip, which has the perfect thickness! Now the wheels turn beautifully

Great design. a lot of fun for the kids and easy to print. Easy to assemble and what a brilliant idea to use filament as part for the axis. 👍
