The Arc de Triomphe, situated at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle in Paris, France, is a monumental arch commissioned in 1806 by Napoleon to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805. As the world's largest triumphal arch, it stands 49.54 meters tall, 44.82 meters wide, and 22.21 meters deep. Modeled after ancient Roman triumphal arches, its single arch design embodies imperial grandeur and simplicity. Four massive relief sculptures—Departure, Victory, Peace, and Resistance—adorn its four sides, all meticulously recreated in this model. The La Marseillaise sculpture is particularly renowned.
