Description
Inspired by @TheTinkerer’s stunning Bambu-Tirith Book Nook https://makerworld.com/it/models/874156-bambu-tirith-a-minas-tirith-book-nook-tribute?from=search#profileId-826577,, I decided to forge my own dark counterpart: Barad-dûr on the right-hand side of my bookshelf! 🏰
The Eye of Sauron glares relentlessly toward Minas Tirith, while Gandalf stands in front at the Doors of Moria on the left (https://makerworld.com/it/models/126414-moria-door-book-holder#profileId-136619). I hope this epic duo brings a touch of Middle-earth magic to your home!
NB: This is my second upload—my first was mistakenly flagged and removed. I believe MakerWorld should be a place for sharing creativity, not competition over downloads for a few cents.
Although there are thematic similarities with all the other Barad-Dur (obviously), I’ve made several key changes that i ahven't seen in other project:
- The rear shape is redesigned to snugly hold your books
- Sauron’s Eye is rotated to stare only at Minas Tirith
- The One Ring inscription is engraved in Elvish on the base
I have all the original Blender and Fusion files, but I’d rather keep it simple here. I’d be happy to tag this as a remix if it truly were one—as I’ve done for other projects—but it isn’t… and I’m happy to credit @TheTinkerer as my inspiration 😁
