Description
In Japan, when renting an apartment, you need to return the property as it was. Even a small nail in the wall results in deductions, making many hooks unsuitable.
This 3D-printable hook, modified based on the design of 'Kakubi Bijin', uses 0.5mm layer height, and staples.
The hook is replaceable, allowing for different hook lengths and even ornaments.
Testing shows excellent results. Four staples easily support 1-2kg. More staples can support heavier loads.
Official hooks support up to 6kg, using a similar principle.
Note: Drive staples at a 30-degree angle for a secure fit.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Staple Preparation
Use a 180-degree staple gun and load it with stainless steel staples.
Step 2: Securing the Base
Align the base to the wall, and drive staples from above at a 30-degree angle. Secure the corners first, ensuring stability. Ensure the central hook hole faces upward for easy hook insertion.
Step 3: Hook Installation Complete
Once the base is secure, insert and lock the 3D-printed hook into the slot to complete the installation. The process requires no drilling and leaves no wall damage.
