Description

Saw this design on Amazon and decided to replicate it! Design credit (XQQ store on Amazon) - Amazon.com: XXQ Metal Wall Art Decor, Daisy Flower Wall Sculpture Indoor Outdoor Metal Art for Bedroom Living Room Kitchen Patio Available in Black White and Gold (Black, 30" x 30" / 76 x 76cm) : Home & Kitchen 

 

Flower wall art design is 34 inches in Diameter and 10 mm thickness. Parts split across 15 plates; each piece is tightly joined with another with the use to 5x5x5mm male - female square connectors (0.2mm tolerance between the connector fitments). Pieces do not require any glue, but you may add optionally. 

 

Scale to your preferred size! 

I printed in the Bambu labs PLA Wood and it turned out quite well!

Can you include a profile of it all connected and reduced in size to fit on a build plate?

You can use the "scale" tool in bambulab studio to size it down.

You can still resize the parts. Just select every part and let's say give them all 90% or whatever number you need.

My wife wants me to print it but the 15th plate doesn't fit within the plate of my x1c, do I need to reorient it somehow? edit: ok I see, my printer just isn't big enough, will have to shrink it I guess. edit edit: rotated it and got it to fit :)

Overall, the print went well although there were a few bits that broke off. It looks good in my living room. Thanks for sharing this model
