Description
PolyCube is a colorful, print-in-place articulated cube puzzle made from four interlocking pieces, designed to print in one piece with no supports or assembly required.
It’s a fun and functional fidget toy that’s great for kids and adults alike, offering a satisfying visual and tactile experience straight from the print bed. While it may feel a bit stiff at first, the joints naturally loosen with use. I recommend printing at lower layer heights, as there are internal overhangs — the finer the layer, the smoother the movement.
Different filaments will yield different results, and the motion improves over time, so feel free to experiment — I’m eager to see your combinations! A version with filament pause points is also included for printers without AMS, making multicolor printing accessible to everyone.
