Description

This was a Modern Side table I designed that was printed on the Raise 3D Pro2 Plus. You can watch the series on how I built the table below. The Opening for the table top is exactly 76mm, It is friction fit and does not require any glue. If the fit was loose then You can use glue. My top was made from walnut and cut with a shaper origin and also chamfered with a spokeshave. You can use any top you like as well as print with out the peg so you don't have to cut a hole.

How do you print the top piece? You have it with the bottom of the "funnel" down, but you have a massive void right below the flat top part. How is that supposed to work? That will fail 100% of the time. Seems like upside down with supports to allow room for the peg would at least be feasible. Or just cut that off entirely and make it flat.

I didn't create the profile, but it's easy enough to add internal supports for the void. you can use tree supports. They May be difficult to take out. Unless you use some kind of PVA. Personally if I were to do this all over again. I would fill the void inside with Expanding foam. So just do it with supports and shoot some foam in there.
