Inline activated carbon filter with 100 mm hose connectors

This 3D-printable inline activated carbon filter is designed for use in ventilation or exhaust systems, such as grow tents or air purification applications. The compact design allows for easy integration into existing hose systems with a standard diameter of 100 mm.

Features:

• Dual 100 mm hose connectors (outer diameter), suitable for standard ventilation hoses
• Cylindrical interior for holding activated carbon granules or fleece
• Two-part design: For easy filling and cleaning (depending on the variant)
• Seal lip/flange at the connection ends for better hose fixation
• Suitable for air filtration in small enclosed spaces

Recommended print settings:

• Material: PLA, PETG or ABS (for temperature and chemical resistance)
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Wall thickness: min. 2–3 mm
• 100% infill recommended for the outer shell

Notes:

• Filter medium (e.g., activated carbon) is not included.
• Check for tightness and secure fit before use.
• Optionally, a fly screen or foam can be used for additional fine dust filtration.
• To regulate the flow rate, change the amount of activated carbon and, if necessary, fill the empty space with light filter fleece
