Parametric Pencil Clip

Want to secure a wooden pencil in your pocket? Customize this simple clip to your favorite brand and upgrade your everyday-carry pencils for a few grams of filament! This design supports both standard hexagonal pencils and octagonal carpenter's pencils.

Pencil dimensions vary! The provided print profile includes clips sized for a Ticonderoga #2 and a CH Hanson “Hard” carpenter's pencil. When taking measurements for a hexagonal pencil's diameter, measure from corner-to-corner rather than face-to-face; you want the maximum diameter, not the minimum. Over time, PLA may deform and provide a looser fit. Consider using a more durable filament for this clip and/or securing it in place permanently with a small drop of superglue.
