Description
My Dyson Ball Animal upright vacuum stopped working. It would not suck anything through the motorized brush head. I searched online and discovered that the Lower Duct Changeover Valve Hose was disconnected. Luckily ⅔ of the propritary clip was still stuck in there. I removed it, scanned it and quickly made a replacement hose clip.
Looking online, it seems this is not an uncommon problem. You can buy a new hose on Amazon for $15, but the clip is not included. Here's a clip you can print to replace a broken or missing one.
I recommend using PETG, its a little more flexible and resists heat better. Mine has been working fine the last year.
