This is a dew cap for a Skywatcher Newton telescope 8″ (200P/PDS/Quattro). This dew cap is compatible with the telescope's dust cap and thus with many accessories such as Bahtinov masks.

Solar filters should always be mounted directly onto the telescope. Never point the telescope at the sun without appropriate protection!

Only the fit for the 200PDS is tested! Please provide feedback if you encounter any issues.

PLA works as long as there is no direct sunlight! PETG is recommended

This is the absolute maximum that can be printed with an X1C. It is recommended to not perform dynamic flow calibration!

If you have a boost to spare, I would appreciate it if you would send it my way :-)

Mounting Instructions

The dew cap can simply be pushed onto the telescope opening. It is designed to hold itself in place. If this is not the case, holes for M4 melt threads are provided.
