Description

Filament re winder to enable rewinding filament on a damaged or cardboard spool to a new spool.

added several improvements to the original utilising standard skateboard bearings to reduce friction and prevent wear on the moving parts. 

To add friction when winding simply tighten the lock nut on the feed spool.

super print only not all spools fit on the adapter, you have to print those additionally. For a beginner like me, that wasn't a given

I didn't know it wasn't all printed till I was 500g of filament down, bruh

Nice, practical print. Exactly what I was looking for. Not overly engineered like some spoolers but also not under engineered that will break easily. The use of bearings and hardware make it more durable but there are not a thousand parts to print and put together.

nice model, printed and assembled. Like it. I saw some questions regarding the handle, so I downloaded it and added an additional plate. Can be found as an additional print profile. Thanks to the creator

Strength Issue:Upper bearing shell breaks.
Other Issues:Incorrectly constructed, had to rework (see image). Now it works well.
