Description
This is the files to 3D print mock ups for the custom shim and gaskets for the vintage tank solutions / radium engineering fuel pump hanger conversion.
Vintage Tank Solutions sells a replacement OEM+ fuel tank for the Datsun 240Z - 280Z. A fantastic option for those rebuilding this classic vehicle and having a modern updated fuel system over the more than likely rusted, heavy steel tank originally in the car.
Up until recently, the common fuel pump hanger to run in these tanks were the Holley Drop In or Aeromotive.
Although both are options, I wanted something different.
The VTS tank is 10.5" deep and through some research, I found that the OEM R32 / S13 Fuel Pump Hanger would work.
I designed this shim / gasket set specifically for the Radium Engineering Early Nissan Fuel Pump Hanger .. an upgradeable unit to the OEM one from the Skyline.
To make the shim and gasket work, drill a 4 1/2" hole and the six mounting holes into the VTS tank , place the shim on the inside, the gasket on the top side, and install the fuel pump hanger.
