H2D HEPA Filter
Print Profile(1)

Description
This filter box is specifically designed to fit AP303/AP304 HEPA H14 filters. It was developed to accommodate the largest filter size that can be printed in a single piece on the H2D, maximizing filtration surface area while minimizing airflow restriction. Its purpose is to capture VOCs, particulates, and other emissions produced during 3D printing.
Although the H2D includes an internal filter, it is partially bypassed during prints with certain materials. This external filter box addresses that limitation and adds a secondary layer of protection, especially important when printing with more hazardous filaments.
Printing Recommendations:
- Print using a high-temperature filament such as PETG or higher to prevent warping in heated chamber environments.
- After testing various orientations, I recommend printing flat with the large opening facing down and using supports yielded the best results.
- For optimal support removal and surface quality, consider using a support interface (e.g., PLA or a dedicated support filament) with a 0 mm gap between the interface and the model.
- I used 28mm self tapping screws. You could probably get away with as short as 25mm screws. It will also fit M3 scres but you'll need a tap for the printer side.
- I would use something like Fun Foam or a TPU gasket as a seal between the printer and Printer Body piece.
