Hello everyone,
this time a simple yet effective battery box! The inside dimensions of the box are 135x80x80mm (LxWxH). The Walls have a thickness of 2.5mm.
It features a hole for feeding ~8-10mm cables through the TPU cable adapter! This will help with keeping the box water tight, stop damage when the cable gets yanked as well as reduce stress on the cable while being bent.
It was originally designed for a 14.8V 18650 battery back with electronics board beeing used in a golf buggy. I included a picture of this batterys for anyone needing the exact information.
It came out very well and has survived multiple golf trips, small falls and many of bumps even though only printed in plain PLA (except the TPU cable adapter). I have also never noticed it getting too warm while in use or charging but this of course strongly defends on the material and the battery you use.
