I got tired of all the lamp models on MakerWorld being purely for decor, so I decided to design this Minimalist Swedish Modern Desk Lamp that has three degrees of adjustability that you can use functionally, and it looks great as well :)
How it works and how to assemble?
Although the model is simple and minimalist and the mechanism is no exception. The design uses two 3d printed screws, one with an outer and one with an inner fillet. Make sure you have your settings and compensation dialed in well for these parts, since they can be a cause of friction. This screws sit flush from both sides of the arm, which interlocks with the end of another arm, regardless of which side they are on. Based on how much you tighten the screws, the lamp's stiffness is adjusted. Be careful and make the wire channel point the wire channel inwards when assembling.
Printing Tips:
- Use my print profile if you have any Bambulab machine, the print profile is universal
- 0.2 mm layer height for most parts, 0.1 for the screws
- 2 walls
- 15% infill
- Tree supports
