Description
The House that Ruth Built (and Jeter Rebuilt) in your House!
This is a passion project that I designed to hang over the window in my office (see photo). I made one out of wood 20 years ago for my son's nursery, but with CAD and printing, much more is possible today.

This is designed to require no supports - all overhangs are handled with 45degree chamfers. I used brims on several of the smaller parts just to ensure the parts stayed put on the bed… had zero issues.
Printed everything in PLA - black and white from Bambu, and the navy from Elegoo.
It's configurable to different widths by adding additional arches and towers. See the build instructions.
There are 3 options for how to hang the assembly:
- The rear of the towers have keyhole slots to hang the assembly directly. Use #10 or #12 flathead screws.
- There are 1" stand-off that can be mounted on the wall, and the assembly gets mounted ont he stand-offs.
- There are 4" stand-offs that support a curtain rod behind the facade. There is a modular printable curtain rod included, which can be assembled using the square pegs.
There are two types of towers - those with flag mounts, and those without… you can design your facade for the number of flags you want. I included a printable wavy NY flag, or you can make your own.
Go Yankees!
