Description
This cyberdeck build is housed in an Apache 2800 case, which you can pick up at Harbor Freight for about $30. The setup features a 10-inch touchscreen sourced from AliExpress, along with all the ports, connectors, and components—also available on AliExpress—making this a relatively budget-friendly project. There are definitely cheaper screen alternatives but this one is 1000nit and has a touchscreen. The touch screen does not work in cosmostreamer but is great in Pi OS.
At its core, the system runs on a Raspberry Pi. A standout feature is the physical switch mounted in the center, which toggles between two operating systems. It’s wired to an SD card switcher connected to the Pi, allowing seamless OS swapping with just a flip of the switch.
