NEXSA LightShield™ – P1S Visor

LightShield™ is a display visor module engineered specifically for the Bambu Lab P1S control terminal. It is designed to improve screen legibility under strong ambient lighting conditions by reducing reflective glare and minimizing visual interference with the interface.
 

The LightShield™ series offers six angle × depth configurations, covering a wide range of shielding demands from minimal to maximum obstruction. Users may select the appropriate version based on installation position, light source direction, and ambient intensity.

All designs are internally optimized for light deflection, geometry clearance, and structural shielding.

Constructed as a single-piece snap-fit module, LightShield™ requires no glue or screws and can be directly deployed. All versions are tolerance-calibrated for precise fitment to the original P1S enclosure, with full support for repeated mounting and AMS multi-color printing.

Model Overview:

15.9° × 20mm

Recommended for:
Backlit walls, mild ambient reflection from small desk lamps.

15.9° × 35mm

Recommended for:
Open desktop setups exposed to shallow upward sunlight.

29.7° × 20mm

Recommended for:
Overhead lighting at an angle, or partial LED shadowing conditions.

29.7° × 35mm

Recommended for:
Task lighting, environments with multiple directional light sources.

40.6° × 20mm

Recommended for:
Top-down key lighting, high-CRI white light interference.

40.6° × 35mm ✅

This is the deployed configuration currently in use by the designer.
Recommended for:
High-glare industrial setups, exposure to vertical illumination or daylight from above.

Notes:

• All versions can be previewed in Bambu Studio for geometric shielding coverage
• Matte black or dark grey PLA+ is recommended for optimal light suppression
• Long-term testing under personal deployment has shown no fatigue, loosening, or warping

Open Collaboration:

This is the initial release of the LightShield™ series.
Users of A1 / A1 mini / X1C systems are invited to participate in the next phase of variant development, including mounting adaptation and structural standardization.
