Description

Textured PEI plates are amazing—unless you need to scrape them. Metal razors catch. Sharp plastic edges dull instantly. That’s why I designed the Heavy Duty Scraper from the ground up to do one thing better than anything else: reliably clean your 3D printer plate without damaging it or the tool.

Why another Scraper? All the others get it wrong for getting really stuck prints off the bed…

Most 3D printed scrapers get the material wrong and the geometry wrong. Metal-razer-based scrapers catch and damage textured plates. Sharp-edged plastic scrapers dull on the first use. Inspired by the rock-solid ice scrapers I grew up using in Colorado winters, this tool uses a blunt-edge design (~80° angle) that resists wear and delivers consistent scraping power job after job.

Plus, the entire design is overbuilt where it counts: reinforced edge, reinforced handle, and optimized for real-world torque and leverage. Whether you’re removing print failures, brims or supports, this scraper won’t flinch.

What’s Included

Two versions for different maker priorities:

  • Power Scraper Heavy (7mm Thick)

    ~18g / ~30m print (A1 model print time)

Ultimate durability. Use it on the toughest, most stuck prints.

  • Power Scraper Light (5mm Thick)

    ~10g / ~17m print (A1 model print time)

Fast print, strong performance. Ideal balance of strength, speed, and filament use.

Both models feature:

  • The same, Reinforced 80° blunt scraping edge
  • Strong and Extra strong handle for aggressive leverage
  • Designed for FDM printability with no supports
  • Works perfectly on textured PEI, satin sheets, and more

Best Uses & Tips

  • Use with a slight downward angle and moderate pressure—let the geometry do the work. Ridged to re-enforce and guide the slicer to create the optimal strength solid fill patterns.
  • Print profile is 100% solid with 50% Bottom shell and 50% Top shell layers; concentric to create long strands of plastic along the length of the handle.
  • PLA+ works great, but PETG or ABS gives extra toughness if you’re really going hard.

Download, print, and finally give your build plate the cleanup tool it deserves!
