GMKtec NucBox G5 AM4 Cooler Bracket Adapter/Bench*

Description
This model is an adapter for AM4 retention brackets to hold a GMKtec NucBox G5 mini PC/computer boards so a full-size CPU cooler/heatsink can be attached and used to achieve maximum cooling potential! I used a metal backplate, clip mounts, long screws from a liquid cooler (approx. 32mm long) and MX6 thermal paste I had around plus a $10 ¼" (6mm) thick 1"x1" (25.5x25.5mm) copper plate from eBay as a shim. The screws thread through the bracket and into the backplate. The standoffs, screws and thread inserts (used as nuts) were reused from the original product. Yes, I split the plastic and removed little metal threaded things from the top cover, but I wasn't going back to that case anyway. The fan wires have the same colors and purposes as the wires on my AMD Wraith cooler, only +/- is 5v so the fan spins at 917 RPM (approx. 33% speed) and is plenty to allow for nonstop 2.9Ghz turbo @ 100% CPU usage while staying at 45c. Sadly 2.9Ghz is the maximum default frequency enabled by GMKtec. I contacted GMKtec to resolve the issue and was given a link to an updated BIOS and was told to enable C-States in the BIOS which allowed for full turbo up to 3.6Ghz. After changing a few additional settings including the Power Plan in Windows my system now idles at 3.6Ghz and only reduces during loads; it's awesome!
These brackets aren't perfect, but I couldn't find anything for mounting a real CPU cooler anywhere so I'm posting it anyway. Maybe it can be modified to fit specific use cases. Such as, not needing the metal threaded inserts from the original case, or not needing such long somewhat special screws.
If you're only after a stable system with boosting; replacing the thermal paste and setting the stock fan speed to maximum is supposedly enough.
Some time I'll make and upload an alternate version which is designed to not require altering of the original case as well as possibly an all -in-one solution which includes the clips and backplate in the design. Also, a design for a shim retainer bracket because mine moved a lot during cooler mounting.
