Description

Description of the building below the video

Hi, building a cable car requires 4 bearings (6x15x5 - type 696ZZ) and M3 bolts 25mm long.

for example https://www.loziska-rc.com/6x15x5-mm-696zz-kulickove-lozisko-619-6-2z-696zz

or https://koyo.jtekt.co.jp/en/products/detail/?pno=696%20ZZ

I tried to make a version without bearings (sliding sleeve), but it needs a motor to move the cable car (I'm working on a drawing)….

Bearing composition see picture

Please note that the frame of the cableway has two different parts (they are exactly the same, they only differ in the size of the bolt holes. The holes in the rear section are smaller to avoid having to use nuts. Tighten with feeling.

You can position the camera forward, backward or sideways (using generic gopro mounts)
I will add a drawing of such a mount soon.

It is a good idea to add weights to adjust the speed of the ride. I didn't have anything better than the keys on hand :)

Of course you need a rope, a length of 20m at a suitable incline means a video length of up to 45sec.

Without weights the cableway is unstable, keep an eye on my channel (makerworld), I'm still working on the cableway and will add suitable accessories, At the same time I know there are a lot of clever people who will find their own solutions.
