Smart-Meter Display Shelf (110 × 60 × 50 mm)
Print Profile(1)

Description
Rental-safe perch for UK smart-meter IHDs—printed on a 45 ° tilt for extra strength, held up by adhesive strips.
This is the very first model I’ve ever released, so apologies for any rough edges! Please don’t hesitate to tweak the file or slicer settings to suit your own setup.
I designed it because the only place my in-home display could stay connected was on the floor next to the radiator—hard to read and easy to kick. A simple shelf solved it.
Key specs
Projection from wall : 110 mm
Interior width : 60 mm
Overall height : 50 mm
Fits Chameleon IHD3 / IHD6, GEO Trio II, Secure Liberty HD and similar 4″ displays
Rear pocket sized for two 3 M Command™ velcro-style picture strips
Underside cable slot—feed the USB lead through as you stick the shelf so the display sits flush even without hook-and-loop
Print settings (Bambu X1C reference)
Orientation Lay the model on the angled back so it prints at ~45 ° (see screenshot) – this puts layer lines in the strongest direction for the load on the shelf.
Layer height 0.20 mm (0.4 mm nozzle)
Infill 15 % grid
Material ABS (chosen for heat resistance over the radiator)
Supports Only if your slicer flags minor overhangs—mine needed none
Build time ≈ 2 h on an X1C
Installation
Snap two Command strips together and press them into the rear recess.
Peel the wall-side liners.
Thread the power cable down through the slot.
Stick the shelf level, wait the recommended hour, dock your display—done!
Make it your own
Need a deeper shelf, different cable exit or want to print in PLA/PETG instead? Go for it—the geometry is simple and should scale nicely. If you improve it, I’d love to see a remix!
