Unite the power of 10 modified Benchies to form the mighty X-Bencher Megazord!
This was an ambitious project for this Benchy contest. There were several Benchy robot entries; I decided to go for a Super Robot Type, similar to Benchus Maximus by Megawillbot from Cults3d.com. Initially, I thought of using 3 to 5 Benchies, but since it was the 10th anniversary, I decided to go further by using 10!
The model shown is made of 100% Bambu filament; the color choice is all up to you, from the eyes to the armor parts!
The joints have different tolerances, mostly 0.1 mm
- Ball joints on arms and feet -→ 0.0 mm
- Neck ball joint and Swivels -→ 0.05 mm
If the joints are loose after printing, coat them with superglue, but do not overdo it!
When assembling the hinge Joints, be sure that the flat side is facing forward for the knees and backwards for the elbows; the flat surfaces of the middle hinge joints should be collinear towards the flat edges of the plates.
The Upper Arms and the Thighs are held together with 1.75mm filament. If it doesn't connect properly, drill the holes with a 1.8mm bit
