This DodgeBot model is a remix of the Official CyberBrick™ SoccerBot. This replaces the SoccerBot ball launcher with a disc shooter.
Everything including the hardware components, wiring, remote control bindings are the same, except the gantry AKA Locomotive Head Assembly. Assemble the full SoccerBot model first following the official assembly guide. Ensure that you are able to correctly assemble, program and operate the SoccerBot before attempting to assemble the DodgeBot.
If you did assemble and configure the SoccerBot first before attempting the DodgeBot, you don't need to do any configuration change. However, the DodgeBot config file is provided below in case you went straight into building the DodgeBot.
Additional Hardware & Materials Needed
If you haven't purchased any of the CyberBrick kits, you will need at least the DodgeBot for CyberBrick kit referenced in the BOM section below to add the needed hardware to the printed parts.
If you already purchased any of the CyberBrick kits, you will just need the following additional hardware:
- 1.4x20mm rubber band (SKU# RA002 from Maker Supply Store).
- 360° Servo (SKU# PG002 from Maker Supply Store) If you want to easily swap between the SoccerBot and DodgeBot gantries without disassembly
- 4x2mm Round Magnets (SKU# CA001 from Maker Supply Store) The flag targets on the DodgeBot tanks use 4x2mm Round Magnets to mount to the sides of the tanks. You might still have some extra magnets from the CyberBrick kits.
