THE LAST OF US - Ellie's Stiletto Knife

Ellie's Stiletto Knife From The Last Of Us Game.

As a huge fan of the game and also the TV series of The Last Of Us I decided to make this model. I googled and saw some models on the internet that boosted my inspiration to make this model simple and full of details as an actual knife from the game but also I wanted to be easy to print so here you go. This knife is full of details but you need an AMS system to print the model.

Model Description:

Most of the parts are printed vertically to make the model smooth and also nice looking but also strong at the same time.

The 3 main parts require to have an AMS system because I wanted to capture all the details but some details like pins, screws etc. are so small that are difficult to print them separately and it would be also hard to assemble. I also added the M3 screw from the other side of the model so it's not visible on the front and it won't ruin the look of the original model. The handle and the back part are 2 by 2 pieces connected together to make them easier to print and also adding more adhesion to the buildplate and there are no chances to break during printing. With the screw you can add a little bit of tightness between blade so the blade won't fall down when the knife is opened. 

The model was printed with Automatic flow Calibration so maybe there will be a little bit of variations between fittings/measurements.

The parts that are printed vertically are reinforced with additional supports in the slicer so they wont wiggle or break during printing.

Materials You Need:

• 1x M3x10 

Instructions For Assembly:

When screwing in the M3x10 screw be careful and do it slowly let the thread of the screw slowly find its way. If you push it to hard the model can separate between the layers or even break!
