Classic bird house inspired by comics.

  • Humidity draining holes
  • Front and roof removable
  • Back prepared for hook or nail

NOTE: If you plan to install it in a very sunny place, I recommend using PETG as filament.

I loved this birdhouse I just took the liberty of adding the text "Home Sweet Home" Here on my K1C it took 6h for the main part 3:30h for the roof + stick and 1h for the front wall I printed it in PLA because it will be in the shade but I plan to make another one in ABS to put on a tree It's easy to print no support needed and the fittings are perfect I only had a little difficulty fitting the front part but I think it must be intentional to be very snug and not come off easily And speaking of coming off the stick no longer fits so snugly and needs glue to fix it better But that's easy to solve so I found the project very good congratulations and thank you

New to printing and I love the design. Trying to print in Bambu petg but have had splits happen on two plates. any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, first of all, thanks for the comment and rating. As for your problem, it could be due to a myriad of factors, especially with PET-G. However, I would try using a 1cm brimm at zero distance from the object and/or adding elephant ear supports. The problem is due to excessive shrinkage of the lower layers. Let me know if you can solve it that way. Best regards :)

printed perfectly out of PLA Matte White, Black and PLA Tough Red at 50% speed on the A1 with AMS Lite. The brim is appropriate but might not even be needed at 50% speed, at higher may be necessary. a few minor tiny strands which are because of my filament and not the model itself which looks great. this was to test the fit in the back yard and have some PETG-CF coming and will scale it up slightly to put a camera in.

I love love this print. Was so shocked of how big it was and how easy to put together. I did PLA because this just decorations for my mantel.

well built wall thickness will retain heat and keep cool as an air insulation. the hole is way to large for most birds and risks predatory birds to the young so a resize is needed. BUT as I am hoping the squirrel that comes for our bird feed finds it homey.

Hi, thanks for the comment, rating, and photo. In the print profiles, you'll find a adapter specifically designed for the problems you correctly mentioned. I hope that solves your problem. :)
