Description
MegaBenchy is a spectacular remix of the iconic 3DBenchy tugboat, created for the 10th anniversary Benchy contest. This futuristic reinterpretation transforms the classic calibration model into a high-tech, eco-friendly, and adventure-ready vessel, packed with imaginative upgrades and visual flair.
Supersonic rockets are on the bow, powering the ship forward.
A radio transmitter is on the top for communication.
Solar panels are at the front, an environmentally friendly of powering the ship, with fuel cells as backup power.
Ornate doors open into the cockpit, giving the captain some peace.
Trees stand at the back, encouraging wildlife and helping the environment.
This model exemplifies the spirit of the 10th anniversary remix contest, which encourages designers to push the boundaries of the original 3DBenchy by integrating new features, futuristic concepts, and personal creativity. With the original Benchy now in the public domain and available in fully editable CAD formats, MegaBenchy stands as a testament to how far the 3D printing community has come in a decade.
