The print profile is no longer public

Print settings from developer were on point with the supports. Take your time and it also helped to press on the support where it connects to the helmet to help break them loose and it will be easier to remove and reduce risk of snapping anything. Now need to fill and sand the top of helmet, outside and inside and paint. I did size this up to 108% i wear a size 7 5/8 (~24.5”) fitted cap. i used budwin head model to help me get an idea of sizing i used size 3 head to adjust and check fit.

hey! did you print this on a bambu printer? I'm having a hard time getting it to fit on the bed at this scale.

I only brought my printer a week ago, so I'm still a newbie, and this was the second helmet I've done, but first one without having to connect anything together.....had no issues with the print (apart from running out of filament), just need a very light sanding from where the supports were. Fits my head nice and snug but all my projects I plan to display so head size doesn't matter to me too much. Great little project to work on and paint. Thank you so much for the amazing print file 🤙🏻

so glad you enjoyed this print, it's handy to keep hold of an empty spool so you can easily calculate the remaining wight with a set of scales, have fun with your new printer

Awesome model! Had some struggles with the tower falling over on the first print but made it through the second try. I took the helmet to Comic Con and had it signed by Karl Urban. He thought it was cool that it was 3D printed. Colors are Bambu Matte Black, Jarees Ruby Red, and Miailuy Brass Silk.
