Adjustable slatted bed base component

While making the bed, I discovered that a slat on my adjustable slatted bed base was hanging loose. Upon lifting the mattress, I was dismayed to find that a plastic adjustment clamp had cracked on one side, rendering the firmness adjustment impossible. Unfortunately, the upper (fixed) slat cannot be easily removed, preventing the installation of a single replacement part. Therefore, I created a two-part replacement that can be assembled with two screws.
For the material, I would not use simple ABS (too soft), but rather ABS or PLA with carbon fiber reinforcement, as there is continuous inward pressure. A high infill percentage should also be considered.

The slat width is 25mm, and both slats together are between 25mm and 26mm thick. The damaged part is shown in another photograph.

The holes are 3mm in diameter and 20mm deep; the hole in the upper plate measures 5mm. I used 3.5mm x 20mm countersunk Torx screws.
