Material Recommendations:

Box – looks best in matte filaments, such as PLA Wood

Rod – for best durability, use fiber-reinforced filament like PLA-CF

Reel – needs strength, recommended PETG-CF or PLA-CF

Rings – use flexible filament like TPU 95 or AMS for a snug, sliding fit and added durability

Assembly instructions:

After printing add item holders to the box. Click them in place.

Box can be opened from the bottom by lifting those clips up. First few times it can be harder to do, but it will work easier..

After you print everything start by assembling reel. Start by inserting end of fishing line into reels middle (8), and screw together parts (4) & (5) and wind the line onto the reel. Add central screw (7) and fix reel to the main leg (6). Use screwdriver (1). 
Take handle screw (2), and befere attaching handle (3) to the Reel (4), just screw it in place to smooth the thread for the 1st time. Than insert screw into handle and attach it to the reel. 

Put all parts into the box and fix with holders.

 

When you are ready to fish, open the box and open both part holders:

Start by taking all 4 rod parts and click them together. It goes from biggest to smallest, but you can also look at the numbers at the bottom.

 

Next attach reel to the rod with 2 rings. (rings are different sizes, the one with 2 dots is bigger and should be at the thickest end of the rod)

Add rings to the spool leg, and slide it onto the rod. 

You can choose left or right side for the spool handle.

Slide on all line guide rings, these rings also reinforce the fishing rod at its connection points.
Best material for those rings is TPU 95 or TPU for AMS.

Check that rings are slided on till the small bumps.. for strongest connection rings should cover connection point fully!

 

Screw together the bobber, and insert pin into middle.

 

Guide line through the rings, add floater, weight and hook. Change floater position by loosening the pin.
Use small box to store hooks and weights.
