Marcus Aurelius Memento Mori
Print Profile(2)

Description
Marco Aurelio rendered in GST3D marble PLA+. A wall sculpture, though it stands readily; the frame is optional. AMS is not required. If you prefer the bust without the head truncation, please let me know and I will upload it.
This sculpture is based on a scan (not my own) of the Marco Aurelio bust housed in the Capitoline Museums. A base inscribed “Memento Mori” was added, and a portion of the head was removed to incorporate a skull. This skull is printed using GST3D Gold Silk filament.
Print time is extensive due to variable layer heights in both the sculpture and the skull. This can be modified for optimization, but I do not recommend it.
I created this because Marco Aurelio is a significant figure in my philosophical practice, Stoicism, and I added the skull detail and inscription below as a reminder of my mortality and to cultivate a greater appreciation for life.
Feel free to remix the model; consider adding pegs to the frame for interlocking assembly. I adhered mine with adhesive, as I did to the wall.
Likewise, feel free to upload any profile variations you create.
This is my first model. I hope you enjoy my contribution to this wonderful community.
