Gridfinity Flashlight Holders! 

There are three print plates so you can choose to print the holders in one piece or in two separate pieces. 

• “Combined” merges the inner and outer piece. This is the ‘simple’ version and can be printed with one color and a standard 0.4mm nozzle. 
• The two separated profiles split up the inner and outer piece. This serves two functions. The first reason is to allow for less poop changeovers if you want the inner/outter piece to be two separate colors. The second reason is it allows for the inside piece to use a 0.2mm nozzle which is required for the text to print well. 
  • “Flashlight Pedestals” should be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle or the text won't look good. 
  • “Flashlight Vertical Supports” can be printed with a standard 0.4mm nozzle. 

I started this project started because I wanted to tailstand my whole flashlight collection. Most lights will tailstand but some are unable to do so. However, even if they tailstand, they are easy to knock over when dusting. 

90% of the lights will fit in a standard round holder which allowed me to design one holder and just update the dimensions to make them all. Some, however, have custom dimensions required so I made custom holders for them. 

I designed all the holders in OnShape so if you'd like to make your own you can grab the files and update the parameters to make your own. I have a lot of Gridfinity in this OnShape collection. The standard flashlights use the “GridFinity-Flashlight (10-30mm Diameter Parameterized)” part studio. Custom lights have aptly named part studios.
