Small Wind Turbine MK3– Long Blade Edition (Remix)
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a "Quick and Dirty" remix of the fantastic Small Wind Turbine MK3 by @rosch8. If you are looking for more surface area and a more imposing look, this is for you!
The Remix:
- 50% Longer Blades: I have extended the original blade length by 50%.
- Compatibility: Only the blade surface was resized, not the attachment point.
- Advantage: If you already have the original windmill, you only need to reprint the second build plate three times. The rest of the model remains identical.
- Note for A1 mini users: Due to the length, these blades will push your build plate to its limits!
Important "Quick & Dirty" Note: ⚠️ Because only the blade itself was scaled and not the connection point, the area where the blade meets the attachment is a bit more fragile than the original. Please handle with care during assembly. Once mounted, it works perfectly fine.
Tail Extension:
I have also included an 80mm extension for the tail. This helps with directional control, as the increased pressure from the longer blades requires more leverage to keep the turbine pointed into the wind.
